The creation of electronic devices is about to be revolutionized by a new unique pen created by Tokyo-based AGIC. Although, there were conductive gel circuitry projects on the market for some time now, however, this new pen is going to transform the technique of building circuits. This new pen with conductive ink makes use of silver as the major element in order to manufacture the ink wires. The project was first funded on Kickstarter last year, and now it has become commercially available as per IFL Science. In order to get a clear idea about how it works, take a look at the video from Vocativ below.
The pens is priced at US$14.99 which also needs some cheap circuit paper to make everything happen. Each circuit paper sheet basically allows the ink to stay on the surface and conduct electricity instead of being absorbed by the paper.
This is perfect for anyone that loves rapid prototyping electronics but hates dealing with those pesky bread boards. Another amazing utility of this small pen is the attainment of children’s interest towards electronics. Picture yourself helping your little brother or sister or your child in drawing a circuit and then seeing their astonishment when the light actually lights up!
