Aston Martin’s Mystery Car Model is Lagonda Taraf

By -

During February this year, Aston Martin made waves by announcing the launch of a mysterious car that’d only be available by invitation, to buyers in Middle East only. Going forward with the thrill, they didn’t even reveal this model’s specs. Exclusivity cooked in a mystery makes for a fine sale, no doubt.

Aston Martin finally revealed what metal this model holds. The super Sedan is the Lagonda Taraf, that reflects Aston Martin’s 70s Lagonda in its features and is the first to boast the Lagonda nametag in nearly 30 years.

The supercar’s pricng will vary, as the car is bespoke but estimators believe it can cost around $1.7 million. The Lagonda Taraf doesn’t remain exclusive to the Middle East only now, and has been made available in other regions as well, including Europe, UK, South Africa and Singapore. “Opening up the Lagonda Taraf to an increased number of customers around the world was a high priority for me as soon as I joined Aston Martin late last year,” Dr. Andy Palmer. Aston Martin’s current CEO told reporters. “I wanted to be able to offer this exceptional saloon to the potential owners from around the globe who have been enquiring about it, and I’m very happy that we have been able to expand the Lagonda proposition.”
