Many teenage boys are obsessed with sports cars like Ferraris and Lamborghinis. The bedroom walls are covered with posters and smartphones have sports car wallpaper. They dream that one day they’ll design their own car. A Bangkok teenager Jennarong Muengtaweepongsa has already done what others only hope to do.
This fifteen year old already designed a gorgeous Aston Martin DB11 concept two months ago and now he’s gone and done it again. His latest supercar creation is the Koenigsegg Legera, described by Muengtaweepongsa as a baby supercar designed to fit underneath the brand’s hot-performing Agera. Don’t get too excited…. it only exists in the digital world, but it Jennarong gets his ways, the 800 horsepower super machine could someday be seen on the streets.
According to the designer, the Legera would be powered by a V8 engine producing around 700-800 HP, putting alongside the likes of the Lamborghini Aventador and Pagani Huayra. As far as looks are concerned, it looks like you could drive it off the assembly line. It’s smaller than the Regera and the Agera, but it does share design elements, including the removable Targa top. Jennarong did get some inspiration from other cars as well, such as the Jaguar C-X75, Porsche 918 Spyder. “I have tons of cars I look to for inspiration, I just can’t pick one,” says Jennarong.
He added some details to the car, like the carbon fiber air intake on the hood with the Koenigsegg badge in front, doors that would have a fingerprint sensor and open upwards….awesome, huh? If this car ever sees the light of day, it’s going to be legendary.
