Kudo3D’s Titan 2 Is The Latest 3D Printer By The Company
After a very successful launch at Kick-starter in May of 2014, they have been working really hard to improve the field of 3D Printing and make a difference in the 3D Printing industry. The company named Kudo3D started with its first 3D Printer named Titan 1 which was widely used in the dental, gaming, academics, jewelry and rapid prototyping industries all over the world. Two years and a month later, they came up with their second-generation 3D Printer and named it as Titan 2.
The President of Kudo 3D, Tedd Syao explained: The Titan 2 extends in terms of updates while staying true to its parent, Titan 1’s base, the patent pending passive self-peeling (PSP) technology is included in both the models. Titan 2 provides its users with wireless connection and a web-based software to control the 3D printing. A shutter was also added to the Titan 2, this helps reduce background exposure and extends resin lifetime and provides mask option for more uniform intensity. Improving our 3D printing technology to meet demands of different applications is what their company is dedicated to.
Configuration and setup of the brand new Titan 2 is much easier as compared to its predecessor. It comes with built-in Raspberry Pi 3 and is Wi-Fi enabled. Hence the user won’t have to connect The Titan 2 to some computer. It only requires a power cord to operate. It comes along with a web-based controlling software. This software is compatible with Personal Computers and also with Mobile Devices. A single device can be used to manage multiple Titan 2 printers. This is helpful for those looking to setup a production line using these printers. A new mesh-like build is used in the Titan 2, this facilitates printing by reducing the vacuum force between layers and make it a lot easier.
When the printer is pushed to the extreme, the Titan 2 is capable of printing fine features that other low cost SLA printers fail to print. Displayed below is a 45 micron thin needle printed using the Titan 2. The diameter of the needle is half of that of a strand of hair.
The Titan 2 comes with its body fully assembled and calibrated, this makes the startup process easier for the beginners. And the Titan 2 is currently being offered at a $200 USD discount for the orders placed until June 19, 2016.
