Hot dogs are a popular choice of food for summer lunches and evening munches. Every time a family gets together to have a ball, hot dogs find their place on the table, and in the stomachs! It isn’t hard to cook hot dogs but if you want to add a little fun to your afternoon parties, try this DIY solar cooker to make munchy hot dogs!

All you need is.. a Pringles container! The trick is in the silver lining inside the a Pringles jar which can trap and direct sunlight to cook hot dogs. Check out how:

Draw a rectangular box on one side of the cylinder.DIY Solar Cooker with Pringles Container (2)

Drill a hole in the bottom of the cylinder to secure the other end of the skewer.DIY Solar Cooker with Pringles Container (5)

Now assemble. Close the lid and secure the skewer on either side.DIY Solar Cooker with Pringles Container (6)

Take the lid and skewer a hot dog in, Reassemble, and Viola! Them hot dogs smokin’ in the sun!
