Moleskine brings its experience in physical journals to the digital world. It’s quite nice to see a unique look to something as basic as a calendar. It’s easy to view a whole week at a glance, dispay your schedule for a given day or simply swipe up to look further ahead. You can personalize your timeline by choosing the number of days shown. Also shade alternate weeks, weekends or the past, or focus on your current day by expanding it to fill the screen. The Apple Watch companion app is also well made which color features. To give you event reminders, the Apple Watch will gently tap you on the wrist.
Timepage allows you to access all your calendars in one place. The weather app with its interactive charts is built-in to make planning for your entire day a lot easier. All you have to do is add a simple event like “coffee with Sara at Hard Rock” and Timepage will take care of the details. You can get travel time and directions by car, public transit, cycling or walking.
Swiping from left to right on the main page shows you the weather data for the week. This includes a visual icon of the weather, high and low temperatures, and other data such as a chance of rain. Tapping on day of the week brings you to your appointments presented in a simple manner. Moleskine isn’t the first name that comes to mind when you think of mobile apps, but Timepage is a complete package, combining design and quality functionality.
