Mininch, a Taiwan based design team, has created a new multi-tool called the Tool Pen Mini that they have launched on Kickstarter, a crowdfunding website.
The company, Mininch made their debut in 2014 on Kickstarter with their successful Tool Pen, a device with several tools packed into a portable pen. The designers are now back with an even more portable version of the multi-tool, the Tool Pen Mini.
It still has the same ‘Pop-A-Point’ design, which allows easy swapping of the 21 bits. The interchanging bits have been upgraded, now constructed from a lightweight, high quality S2 tool steel. The 21 types of precision bits let you do everything from fixing your iPhone and Xbox to you wristwatch and glasses. There is also a window with marking icons to find which bits are inside, where they’re located and which one you’re using.
The Tool Pen Mini features a cap to protect yourself and the tool from accidental collision as well as a clip that makes carrying the pen easy. The pen body is machined by aluminum with sand-blasting finish, and there are three colors, snow silver, gunmetal, and champagne gold.
